Today was a big day in our adoption process. God sure has blessed us during this whole process and today it was evident! I woke up this morning and had to get one last piece of paperwork notarized and 6 documents authenticated. I was worried because Scott?s birth certificate had been incorrectly authenticated a few weeks ago, so that had to be corrected.

Anywho, everything went so smoothly I thought I was dreaming. Nobody else happened to be in the secretary of state’s office and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes! So this afternoon I dropped off all of our paperwork to Scott and he had to make three copies of each document. Then this evening we sorted and compiled 3 full sets, and one original set and headed to FedEx. Eric, Scott’s little brother, came with us and was our photographer (note the pics).

I also will share with you a funny story from our trip to FedEx. The man helping us at the store was named Leonard. At one point Scott said something to him and pronounced his name Leo- nard, as in Leonardo without the O. Hehe… it was really funny. So now the wait for the referral begins…. We will keep you updated!
