I am writing this from Dulles Airport in Washington DC. We had an uneventful flight from Indianapolis. It was fun checking in for our Ethiopian Airlines flight as we met some Ethiopian families that are traveling there. When they found out we are going to Ethiopia to adopt they were all very excited for us and kept thanking us for what we were doing. We also saw a bunch of Ethiopian chlidren running around and they were extremely cute!

As I may have mentioned, when we bought our tickets for this trip we had the option of either traveling today or next Saturday. The catch was traveling today was going to cost more money but we would get to fly in 1st Class to Ethiopia (not on the way back though.) Courtney is excited because this is her first time traveling in 1st Class and that also means we get access to the British Airways Lounge where we are sitting right now. That's all from DC.
